Who We’re Looking For….
We Call Them TrueNorthers
TrueNorth was founded in 2022 by medical physicists with goal of being an independent company focused on following science, answering the true needs of clinics and their patients, and supporting the team helping to bring those goals to life.
With the goal of charting a better path for our industry, we are seeking the team to help us find that path. It turns out the values we’ve come to embrace in that mission very easily tie into the qualities of the people we’re looking for. And because “great employees working together to better medical physics, dosimetry and more” doesn’t easily fit on a T-shirt, we’ve taken to calling these folks “TrueNorthers.”
A Successful TrueNorther:
Has the flexibility & interpersonal skills to successfully support a variety of clients, partners & teammates in all settings.
Is someone who want to grow and is open to turning their aspirations and interests into opportunities.
Willingly asks questions, yearns to continue learning and wants to share their own experience and knowledge in support of the TrueNorth team.

401k Contributions: TrueNorth contributes five percent of your salary to your 401k and you’re vested immediately, whether you personally contribute or not.

I can massage it a bit, but it would look similar to this, though I would get rid of this map key and make our own. The map is currently broken into: states where TN has worked, states where a TNer lives, and states that are both. Does that breakdown make the most sense?
What makes sense to include in a list like this? Number of places worked (as in clinics, hospitals, etc.), Number of states worked in? Number of states where a TrueNorther lives? Number of LINACs commissioning?
