TrueNorth Presents Poster at AAPM Annual Meeting

Positive results obtained from TrueNorth’s investigation of a new detector for commissioning measurements were presented at the 2023 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).

Managing Partner Robert Staton made the poster presentation citing True North’s study of the potential for using the Medscint HYPERSCINT™ detector for use in radiotherapy linac commissioning processes including small field dosimetry.

This is an independent validation of the Medscint solution, including a RUBY head phantom (PTW) end to end test with a small-field VMAT plan and comparisons with established and validated detectors from major vendors of the industry.
