Linear Accelerator Commissioning
Get Back to Treating Patients Quickly and Safely.
We understand that your medical linear accelerator is the heart of everything your clinic does because LINACs are at the heart of everything we do at TrueNorth. Since our founding in 2022, TrueNorth has commissioned hundreds of LINACs from Varian, Elekta and Accuray, making us the largest independent commissioning group in North America. Our experience means we have streamlined a process that gets your LINAC back to treating patients as soon as possible, whether you are purchasing, updating, replacing, or integrating a new machine. Every commissioning project is assigned at least two board-certified medical physicists and begins with a precommissioning survey. Identifying your unique needs and challenges allows our team to hit the ground running and get your LINAC ready to safely treat patients within a week. All TrueNorth data collection meets or exceeds AAPM recommendations and is analyzed using our proprietary data analysis software that was developed to catch errors or issues long before they can reach patients.

Protect Your Patients and the People Caring for Them
Our team has been part of more than 120 shielding projects of all sizes in the United States, Europe and Asia, and was mentored by some of the pioneers of shielding for radiation oncology facilities. We know what we’re doing and bring that experience to you whether you need new build evaluations, retrofit guidance, or on-site safety shielding surveys. Our team is comfortable working with architects, contractors, and facility staff, meaning you are never alone on your shielding journey. All work is completed in accordance with NCRP reports and in compliance with all local, state and Joint Commission requirements. Our team is licensed in most U.S. states to provide evaluations for ALL forms of LINACs, HDR, CT Sim, and PETCT Suites.

Annual QA is necessary to maintain patient safety, but we all know it’s difficult to fit into your clinic’s busy schedule.
